The bandʼs diverse sound draws from a wide variety of influences of the members, from shades of groups like Pearl Jam to the Grateful Dead to Gaslight Anthem to Pink Floyd, and all points in between. Together, they form a melodic sound filled with soaring harmonies, compact jams, raucous blues romps, power-pop ballads and more – everything needed to get the crowd moving.

Playing live is a core tenet of the groupʼs ethos. Based in Philadelphia, The Wayside Shakeup has played some of their home regionʼs most popular rooms, including World Café Live, the Trocodero Theatre, longtime indie-rock venue The Legendary Dobbs, Ardmore Music Hall, as well as a number of outdoor festivals and events.
