Montreal based DJ and producer Ostrich debuts on Sublease Music with a double a-side release. Ostrich has already carved a path as a DJ and producer, pushing a minimalistic sound that pulls from downtempo, dub, deep house and techno.

Double Dribble, the title track provides an infectious bassline and airy pads floating on a super tight rhyhtm-section.

In contrast, his second track, Too Dumb To Succumb The Drum focusses on a driving multi layered drum pattern with a wobbling bass and synthie stabs winding their way through, before turning into a futuristic deep house cut.

London based James Dexter returns to Sublease for a stellar remix of Double Dribble. Synth-melodies and housey pads ride on a seriously heavy punching beat setting.

Following up their phenomenal and very first collab-release “No More Lies” last year, Makanan and Savi Leon are ready to set the winter season off with their new track “Take Me Back”.

When flying solo, the two guys are regulars on labels such as Toolroom, Selador and Under No Illusion. Celebrated for their funky, dance floor-oriented productions they have steady support from some of the biggest names in the industry, and you can often hear their tracks played by the likes of John Digweed, Mark Knight and Marco Carola.

Although based on different continents, Makanan and Savi have found a way to unite their fresh and groovy signature sounds. Every time they get together, we know it is going to be good. And “Take Me Back” is no exception! The tune immediately sets the vibe with its catchy percussive work. Toms and shakers work their way forward accompanied by playful woody percussion and a bouncy bassline. Chord stabs and flirty vocals immediately let your associations swirl towards the carefree days of Ibiza House, while being underlined by the driving groove.

Hailing from Peru, “Sunday Noise” delivers the first of two remixes. The energetic producer has become a favourite in the scene with his fire-starting House and Tech House releases that have seen the light on Moon Harbour, Nervous Records, Glasgow Underground and more. And now he is also officially joining the Monday Social Music label family. The remix is a fabulous showcase of his celebrated, crisp style and on point production skills. Working tastefully around elements of the original he creates a powering reinterpretation while introducing some serious funk along the way.

Antonio's sound dives between shuffling percussions, irresistible low-end waves, dreamy atmospheres, and rolling tech drums that will set the mood on any part of the Cosmo, while Barcelona's Gruuve version of 'Lose Perspective' is all about the groove with its trademark bouncy & bumpy rhythmic approach, woody kickdrums, and overall terrace vibes.

Bouncing effortlessly from one planet to another - the La Zic dreamy spaceship stops in the UK with Reenday in charge of the third label release. After his recent appearance in the 'Lunar Grooves' series - the London-based young talent now makes his debut official with 'Give Away' EP. As in proper La Zic fashion, the EP features three hazy originals that melt together hooky vocal samples, tight minimal house rhythms, and vibrant bass licks, with Italy's Francesco Mami (Get Physical, Rebellion) giving his own twist to the lead track bringing progressive-ish driving sounds and wider grooves into a bursting, flaming remix.
