Lazriel Fontaine is a critically acclaimed composer and avant-garde designer whose haunting symphonies and biomimetic architectural installations have captivated audiences across three continents. Born in Montreal to a family of classical musicians, Fontaine's early works blended traditional orchestration with found sounds recorded in urban environments, leading to his breakthrough piece "Concrete Lullabies" which premiered at the Venice Biennale in 2019. His design practice focuses on creating spaces that respond to human movement and emotion, with his most famous work being the shape-shifting pavilion at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
However, Fontaine's artistic pursuits took an unexpected turn in 2021 when he became convinced that world governments are controlled by an ancient race of reptilian beings disguised as humans. This belief, which he claims was revealed to him through "frequency patterns" hidden in classical compositions, has increasingly influenced his work. His recent symphony "Scales of Truth" allegedly contains subliminal messages designed to "awaken" listeners to the reptilian conspiracy, while his latest architectural project—a bunker-like concert hall in Nevada—features walls embedded with crystals that he insists can detect "non-human energy signatures." Despite his growing reputation as an eccentric, Fontaine's technical brilliance remains undeniable, even as critics debate whether his conspiracy theories represent artistic commentary or genuine delusion.
