After signing its first vinyl and digital release last May, Weird Planet returns with a digital fundraiser compilation project, just to start the year off right.

Through this VA bringing together no less than 16 artists, the Lyon-based booking agency - and young label - defends a vision that reflects its roster : eclectic, hybrid and far from the pre-established standards. An exploration of the dancefloor in its most uninhibited forms, crossing acid-techno, psychedelic trance, groovy tribe and other unidentified sound objects.

In addition to the strictly musical aspect, it is also and above all the opportunity to contribute to a cause that goes beyond the borders of our scene, since all income generated by the digital sale of this compilation will be donated to the refugee aid association Act For Ref, which provides accommodation solutions, food, administrative or material support and French lessons.

Marc Martinez aka AFFKT proves again that he is not afraid of going against the rules with his open-minded Cold Sweat EP for @Sincopat. 

Three powerful original tracks plus an exquisite remix by the Mexican amazing talent Theus Mago. 

Fireworks light up with 'Samorra', a strong electronic piece with hypnotic bass and outstanding filters, be sure that the test in the club will reach madness. On remix duties we got the eclectic and innovative Theus Mago delivering a really huge re-interpretation of the track, adding even more organic flavored notes to the picture. AFFKT keeps the high level on 'Llobarro', the secret weapon of the EP with a bunch of 'out of space' synths. 'Beetlejuice' is the dessert of this timeless menu, and it offers some surprising sounds and noises in an incredible breakdown.
