@Naicet and I are still amazed by the experience of our first time playing at Kater Blau. It is one of Berlin’s greatest clubs and we share many blissful memories made there. That’s why we felt very honored to play our second b2b ever there. Thank you Mystic Creatures for making it possible! 

Thank you to our friends and the many strangers who danced like crazy, for this incredible vibe which set the Acid Bogen on fire and left us speechless.

Bei dieser sonntags Spezialausgabe des KataHaifisch Podcasts handelt es sich um einen Livemitschnitt aus dem Katerblau. Der Erschaffer dieses Sets und jedes einzelnen Tracks darin ist Christian Hülshoff. In liebevoller Handarbeit wurden die selbstproduzierten Songs vor den Augen und Ohren der Katerblau-Crowd in ein Liveset verwoben. Dabei ist die Atmosphäre sowohl entspannt, als auch treibend zugleich. Man verliert sich nur all zu leicht in den mystisch anmutenden Klängen und die Grenzen zwischen Zeit & Raum verschwimmen. 
Christian Hülshoff trifft mit diesem Set wieder einmal voll ins schwarze. Er bleibt seiner Linie treu und entwickelt sich dennoch stetig weiter. Sein einzigartiger Sound ist mitreißend und eignet sich ideal zum tanzen.

I record club sets very rarely, as most likely the frame is missing. The beautiful people, the atmosphere and the circumstances. But hey, I had the honor to play a 5h Closing Set at Katerblau last weekend. Some trippy blubber blubber sound.  At least I could manage to record 2 hours of the set,and  I'm happy to share it with you.

Disclaimer: I am not longer part of / associated with KitKat Club. The club's matriarch has, in my opinion, proven vast incompetence and in handling crises and safety. I decided to leave this mix up, as it was such a memorable evening. KitKat is part of my musical identity, even though we parted ways. I founded Disco Bizarre with DJ Himself and worked there 2018 through 2022, and this was one of my favorite nights there ever.

"Playing at Mayan Warrior was such a huge honor for us - we still can’t quite believe that this was the first set we ever played at Burning Man! To see the impressive, multi-media art car with all its lights and glory waiting for us was intimidating, to say the least. 
When we arrived to play our set, it started moving into the Deep Playa, with us and our little group of friends following behind it on our bikes. The art car moved slowly, playing its ritualistic music and summoning its followers from the darkness as it set off into the desert. We were at the front of the procession, and every time we looked back, the sea of lights & bikes got bigger and bigger while our hearts started beating faster and faster. People on bikes started appearing one by one from all corners of the Playa, following the fire and lasers until the art car finally stopped and we climbed on top.
We will never forget what it felt like to play our music there….ours was the first set of the night, and we tried to capture the Warrior feeling in our own musical language. The tracks we played reflect the powerful vibe we felt looking down onto the crowd, with the bass booming underneath our feet and the lasers and flames lighting up all around us. Some of them are dark, some of them melancholic - and all of them are close to our hearts. 
We are so grateful to have been invited to share our music on top of the mighty Mayan Warrior, so to Pablo and everyone else who made it happen: thank you so much <3"
