The Iconic Femme Queen of Seoul

Hello, I am a transgender woman living in Seoul. Two years ago, I started hormone therapy and began my journey to find my true self. Last summer, I finally achieved my long-time dream through breast surgery, and I now feel complete. This song is about the moments I deeply wished to become a woman and the emotions and stories I experienced along the way. Through this song, I wanted to share my true self with the world.

I want to be a role model for transgender women in Korea. Not just in the ballroom scene, but in every part of my life, I want people to see me and feel the message I am sharing. I was able to dream this big because of the endless inspiration I received from Sinia Alaia. You gave me the strength to live boldly and beautifully as a transgender woman, and I thank you with all my heart. I also want to thank Mamba Ari, who always supported me with kindness and belief. Without your help, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this dream.

This song is not just my story. it is also a way of thanking the ballroom community. Ballroom has always been a space of love, inspiration, and courage for me. Without this family, I wouldn’t have been able to accept myself or grow into the person I am today.

To everyone who is walking their own path as a transgender person, I hope this song brings you comfort and hope. Your story is one of a kind, and it shines brightly in this world. Please never forget that.

Looking ahead, I want to share more of my life and stories with people through music and dance. As the “Iconic Femme Queen of Seoul,” I am ready to shine brighter and stronger than ever. Please join me on this journey!

Lazy Flow’s DJ sets are celebrations, collective catharsis, led by dancers who follow him everywhere and push their bodies to the limit to do justice to his music.

His secret is perfect mastery of rhythms inherited from the pioneers of House, the icons of Ballroom (to which he upholds law of the land like no one else), the jerking of Baile Funk, Afro, UK Bass, Bouyon, and Jersey Club. Lazy Flow’s latest EP, Paris Bouillon Club, conceived and crafted when clubs around the world had to shut down due to the pandemic, encapsulates his influences and his journey. Lazy Flow’s productions are enhanced by stunning vocal performances from Congolese singer Popaul Amisi, English-Japanese performer Shala, and European ballroom scene legend Matyouz.
