Miyako took on classical piano lesson at the age of 3 in Japan.
Her private piano lesson lasted for 12 years under one instructor.
Then her instructor quit teaching.
Miyako completely stop playing piano for years.
She moved to San Francisco and joined all girl 5 piece rock band 'Tiger Beat' as a keyboardist in 2000.
After 'Tiger Beat', she formed a rock band 'Peloton' with her 4 friends around 2004.
She was a singer, song writer and keyboardist.
Currently she is working on her solo work created with 3 KORG instruments (Microsampler, Microkorg XL and Kaoss pad).
She is also exploring to play her tracks live as much as she could with her 3 Korg favorite toys.
Best of it all, she is having a lots of fun with them.
She is also learning tabla for past 3 years.She is hoping to play traditional North Indian music live someday at least once before she dies.
