Imkamaraa is from Bowie, Maryland. She makes  alternative/new school neo soul. Grown-up music has always been how she communicate her thoughts and my feelings. Shes inspired by artists like SZA, noname, aaliyah, Jill Scott, Daniel Caesar and many more. The music that she makes is to help people feel that they are not alone, and that their feelings are valid. Growing up, she always felt like she was always an OutKast. Until she stepped out in the world, found and made a community. That inspires she to grow (vice versa). She does it for her fam and the badgyals that are corky that was never seen.
