Founded in 2009, Cosmo Records is a Moroccan electronic music label desiring to create touch points between Western, Latin,  West-African and Oriental music.

Owing to its unique creative process, the label is seeking to spearhead a revolutionary form of blending various musical spectrums. In so doing, world famous electronic artists and traditional musicians meet in Morocco's finest music studios to produce original sounds at the confluence of music styles ranging from minimal, tech house and house to the psychedelic practice of Bamako's Kora.

Artists are brought from a wide diversity of backgrounds, which makes any track of the label’s music a fascinating journey where experimental sounds coming out of the most technical devices keep echoing traditional ambiences.

More than anything, Cosmo records acts as a bridging artist community fostering the dialogue between sophisticated western music and ancestral afro-oriental sounds. That undoubtedly gives the label’s universe its unique touch. The Cosmo touch.

Operating out of Casablanca, Morocco, Cosmo records has made its purpose clear; to fuse experimental house and techno with traditional African musicianship in a cultural dialogue that spans generations and continents in search of thrilling new musical forms. 

Over the past years, Cosmo has called upon some of the finest producers in the most adventurous corners of 4/4 dance music to collaborate with players of the kora, guembri, lute and many more forms of percussion and melodic instrumentation. The chosen artists congregate at the Cosmo recording studios in Casablanca, which acts as a hub for these disparate musical energies to come together in a fusion of seasoned, learned performances and hyper-modern electronic processes. 

Amongst the most notorious artists that have contributed to the label so far are Masomenos, RADIQ, Argenis Brito and Pier Bucci, while Moroccan producer Adil Hiani provides a local focus to the electronic side of the creative process, as well as conducting the A&R for the label.

Butch: A DJ’s DJ, A Producer’s Producer, A Electronic Music Chameleon

Some DJs chase trends. Butch sets them. With two decades in electronic music, he moves effortlessly between house, techno, and everything in between. From closing Circoloco at DC-10 to extended sets at Robert Johnson, his sound is always evolving.

Born in Mainz with Turkish roots, Butch hustled his way into the scene, earning multiple Best Producer awards and working with legends like Ricardo Villalobos, Armand van Helden, Cassius, Maceo Plex, and Keinemusik. His releases on Innervisions, Running Back, Defected, Rekids, Diynamic, and Cuttin’ Headz have shaped the underground.

2025 is set to be massive, with his remix of Duck Sauce’s “Falling In Love” already dominating dancefloors and more releases on the way. Butch doesn’t follow rules—he just makes music that moves people.

DubluD started his career as a DJ and producer somewhere in 2017, he got an abnormal passion for house music, which helped him develop a style that is somewhere between a dark minimal with a dancing and continuous bassline and some groovy deep-tech vibes.

Born in Lima-Peru, Chevi is a DJ/Producer/Musician who started out 
as a DJ in 2017 in the UK. Quickly after being immersed by the underground sound of house music, he becomes a self-taught producer by mid-2018; something that successfully led him to release his own productions on labels from all around the world

Now based in Lima-Peru, Chevi is currently experimenting with all types of music genres that he’s most passionate about, to craft a unique sound that characterises him and makes him stand out
