Through his radio and television shows, and an endless stream of independent mixtapes, Wally Sparks has carved out a unique spot in today’s hip hop world. 
Sparks, a.k.a. The Mixtaper, has been writing music since 1994 and began recording and engineering in 2000. Since then he has released 54 self-produced mixtapes and hosted an additional 45 mixtapes for various Boston rap artists.
In 2006, Sparks began a four-year run hosting Heir 2 Tha Streetz a hip hop show on cable television in Boston. Sparks interviewed hip hop legends such as Slick Rick, De La Soul and Cam’ron while also showcasing up and coming New England rappers. The late night hit earned a cult following and praise from The Boston Phoenix and Cambridge Chronicle.
In 2009, Sparks won two awards at the New England Urban Music Awards – best rap act and best production company.
In July 2012, Sparks teamed with internet radio powerhouse UnRegular Radio for Off Tha Wall Radio which reaches over 10,000 listeners every Thursday from 9 to 10 p.m. on UnRegularRadio.Com/meow.
He is now hosting his own (Radio Podcast)
