We’re premiering the title track from Cosmic Tide, the latest EP from Pedro Mercado and Fernando Lagreca. Two seasoned names in the European underground, they reunite on Chrom Recordings for a deep, club-ready release that’s been a long time coming.

Their last joint outing on MUKKE made serious waves. This new one picks up where the last one left off, but delves deeper.

Built around melodic techno foundations, Cosmic Tide incorporates flashes of dark disco and left-field electronica. The result is a tightly crafted EP that’s emotional, functional and full of personality.

The title track, Cosmic Tide, leads with sweeping synths, hypnotic arpeggios and a groove that pulls you right in. It’s celestial and cinematic, but it still punches on a big system.

Synchromised Circus takes a stranger route. It’s twisted and unpredictable, full of broken rhythms and weird textures. Think circus music through a modular rack at 3am.

There’s remix heat too. Andy de Gage’, a core part of the Chrom family, offers a tougher progressive rework of Cosmic Tide that’s perfect for peak-time sets.

Then there’s Joe Fisher, the Buenos Aires producer and Rezongar Music boss. He reimagines Synchromised Circus as a hypnotic, deep techno trip, layering modular bass and spatial effects for a more introspective vibe.

With Cosmic Tide, Chrom continues to explore that sweet spot between melody and movement. Emotion meets edge. Feeling meets function.

En sus sets, Sofía combina una selección musical cuidadosamente curada con una energía que conecta con la pista de baile, creando viajes sonoros que van desde momentos profundos y melódicos hasta otros más intensos, manteniendo siempre una coherencia emocional y personal en su trabajo.

Istanbul-based DJ and producer BURCAK returns to Dark City Music with If You Believe, a confident and emotionally charged slice of melodic house that blends cinematic depth with late- night groove.

Nacido y criado en Argentina, con una base de estudios musicales en batería y composición, Eduardo Ameglio aka AMEGLIO decidió meterse en el mundo de la música electrónica a sus 30 años al conocer a sus roommates Djs y productores Ana Karla, residente y co-owner de Shaktu, y Colo Saravia, residente y co-owner de IKIGAI en Copenhagen, los cuales impulsaron esa curiosidad por mezclar que desencadenó en querer aprender cada vez más y más.
Progressive House es el género que lo define y en el cuál ha depositado mucho de su conocimiento previo en pos de generar sensaciones únicas de armonía con extendidas bajadas, percusiones y ritmos muy movidos, y un kick bien profundo para las pistas más demandantes.
También suele rozar el Techno Melódico en crescendo como un modo de elevarse rítmicamente y llevar la pista a otro tempo, poniendo su pasión y buscando dejar una huella en cada persona que lo acompañó bailando.

LdashD, a self-taught musician and artist is building a reputation on the dance floor with distinctive productions and sounds. You might even spot one of LdashD’s mini logo bags hanging from a wall or railing, filled with free collectables like branded wristbands, stickers, and cards, all featuring his unique, often futuristic designs. But 'Don’t Believe Da Hype’, LdashD’s music is best experienced, not ‘talked-up’. However, LdashD mentions that: ‘I appreciate my music can be demanding of the listener as it is quite challenging to manufacture it, so I can only suggest if at first, like me, you don’t succeed in appreciating its material worth, try & try again as it took a fair bit of trying, again & again, to produce it’. There’s a huge amount of respect and kudos for LdashD’s work amongst the dance community so we’ll leave it to some DJ comments to sum it up for us:
