Depeche Mode
Depeche Mode are an English alternative band, founded in 1980, originally from the town of Basildon, Essex, United Kingdom. They are one of the most enduring and successful bands to have emerged during the 80s, and particularly from the new wave/new romantic era. The band name is derived from a French fashion magazine, Dépêche mode, which means "fashion dispatch." The band have been highly influential in the electronic dance music scene, especially synthpop, techno and trance, in part due to their innovative work, recording techniques and use of sampling.

let me just say I have total respect for DM Waiting for the Night track and loves this number
but what what happens if you add a little dub electro ambient cinima and put a little more darkness into the already dark number
and going from the original 91 bpm down to 80 bpm?
whether you like or not then it is become a little more exciting version? ;-)

Fritz Lang is one of my favorite directors and the Sisters of Mercy are one of my alltime favorite bands!!! To remix one of their songs is kind of a sacrilege but in this case I thought "body electric" could need some little extras. Finally it became more "electric" and more "Metropolis"... Hope you 
like it!

It was quite a job to, program the bassline for this track, because of the delay. Hope you enjoy it though 

Depeche Mode`s Waiting for the night-90 (A.W´s Emax setup was used)

Riders on the Storm, what a classic! I just had the vision of a later Jim Morrison, highly stoned with a frozen beard standing in an arctic landscape next to a  snowy highway. A blizzard is howling and he is waiting for some sweet family to give him a ride...Actually worth a video clip. 
For the technical details Beside the acapella of "riders on the storm" this track features elements of "the order of death" by PIL, Billy Idols "white wedding", "blasphemous rumours " by Depeche Mode and "here comes the rain again" by the eurythmics. Among the used instruments were 2 of my all time favourites, the Roland SH-1 and the Movement Drum System 2. Enjoy!
