Debut Album "I'm Ed Barnes and this is my Story" coming late 2022.

The Sonny Wilsons are a 5-piece Power Pop band from Memphis, Tennessee formed in 2020 by college buddies Adam Yancey and Allen Couch. They set out to make original music that reflected their love of a well structured pop harmony served a side of gritty guitar as pioneered by bands such as The Hollies and Badfinger and later perfected by the likes of Matthew Sweet and Teenage Fanclub. 

Currently, the band is working on their debut album ‘Maybe’ that they plan to release in early 2025. It was produced and mixed by Jon Auer (The Posies/Big Star) and recorded partly at Ardent and High/Low Recording studios in Memphis. Jon also lends his vocal, musical and songwriting skills to the album. You’ll hear his backing vocals on the first single, the title track ‘Maybe’. 

The Sonny Wilsons have opened for Matthew Sweet, The Baseball Project, Jon Auer, Tommy Stinson and the Cowboys in the Campfire.

Cold Irons Bound is a Melbourne four-piece who recall the best distorted twang of the past 50 years. Think a mix of Americana (Tom Petty, Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers Band) and classic indie rock (The Replacements, Teenage Fanclub).

Their two albums to date are full of three-part harmonies, twin guitar leads, and tunes that quickly start to follow you around.

Although antipodean to their bootstraps, their tales of broken suburban dreams share a haunted sensibility with those made infamous by acts from the American Midwest and northern UK.

But it ain't all death 'n' taxes.

Cold Irons Bound’s songs are also about wrapping your arms around a friend you haven't seen in way too long.

They’re about getting older, getting over it, and never forgetting why you fell in love with rock'n'roll in the first place.
