Harmönia, the leading Finnish skweee label, is globally known for its unique and heavy-hitting funky sound. Run by Scandinavian electro pioneers Mesak (Mr Velcro Fastener) and Randy Barracuda (Imatran Voima), the label has already released three critically acclaimed and highly succesful compilation albums and a pile of quickly sold out single releases. Despite the small pressings and strictly underground nature of the label,all Harmönia releases have been supported by high-profile DJs all over the globe such as Don Letts, Kode9 and Rob Da Bank. So far Harmönia's artists have taken the fresh basement funk of Scandinavia to more than ten countries. Weekend long label showcase in New York 2007 was a huge success.
