ISO3 is the performance and production alter ago of Michael Newman. A deep rooted passion for music began at an early age having inherited a collection of house, funk, jazz and northern soul records which was built upon by collecting vinyl from all genres of electronic music. Italian Deep House, Detroit Techno and the UK Rave scene were all an inspiration to an impressionable youngster making beats armed with his Commodore Amiga, Turbo II sampler and Roland D-50.

Having an unrelenting desire to perform, Michael gained crucial experience in his home town of Liverpool which led to further bookings in the UK and in destinations including Australia and Ibiza. ISO3 has also featured on radio and podcasts from originators within Europe and the USA.

The ISO3 sound is a consolidation of these influences - drawing inspiration from the unique vibes and atmosphere experienced within the underground scene. Priority is producing new material and completing projects in collaboration with others, including a remix featured on the first vinyl release for People of the Light Records.

Mike Zoran is a child of funk, disco, house, techno and all other genres that derived from these roots. These influences shaped his vision as a producer.

This is a small selection of my most notable productions over the last decade using Ableton Live. I create music in my own unique style which is a bit different to the usual stuff you will hear and doesn’t follow the usual ‘music by number’ format. I pride myself on creating my own sounds along with some great samples to create something from the soul.

Brief history:-  I was heavily influenced by the early rave scene in 1992 listening to Pulse, Cool and Rush FM Pirate radio stations in London. I mastered the art of DJing on Vinyl at the age of 16. I got booked to play at many clubs in and around London in the 90s. I travelled to Ibiza in 1996 and went on to spend 4 seasons on the island visiting and playing at many different clubs. My love of Techno came from spending week in week out at one of the best clubs in the world Amnesia! Particularly at the cocoon nights run by Claudio Coccoluto!

I hope that you enjoy the music and the journey I take you on. My selection of music and the way I mix it is deeply rooted in my experiences I have had over the years and is something that comes from the soul, I hope you feel that connection when listening to my music.
