Jon Willis was introduced to music very early on, beginning with piano at age 5. However, after his parents bought him a drum set in 6th grade, he knew his instrument was the drums.  

Practicing obsessively all through grade school, he began playing in the jazz band, orchestra, drumline, and local bands, as well as every weekend in church.  Jon also studied privately under the direction of Peter Erskine, Will Kennedy, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ndugu Chancler, Gordon Campbell, Aaron Sefaty, and Craig Thatcher.  

At age 20, Jon received the Modern Drummer Magazine Top Undiscovered Drummer Award (in the 18 and over category) and performed at the 2005 Modern Drummer Festival.  He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2008 with a bachelors in Music and a Business Minor.  

While in Los Angeles, Jon recorded and performed with his fusion/rock band Vajra, and worked as a hired session drummer for various pop acts (including My Chemical Romance and Ashley Tisdale). 

Jon has recently relocated to Seattle to focus on music production and recording.

Jamie Rosenn is a guitar player committed to forging a personal sound that acknowledges the past but also points to the future. Trained at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Music, Rosenn studied with jazz luminaries Jimmy Giuffre, Ran Blake, Mick Goodrick, George Russell and Bob Moses. After completing his studies in Boston, Jamie moved to California where he attended the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Valencia. At CalArts Jamie studied with Charlie Haden, Leo Smith and Joe LaBarbera and was a featured performer and composer on the ’94 and ’95 CalArts Jazz CDs. Since receiving his Master Degree from CalArts Jamie has been an active member of the Los Angeles jazz scene. In 1996 Jamie was chosen by the United States Information Agency to be an artistic ambassador and perform in a duo that took part in a seven week tour of the Middle East and South Asia. In addition to performing, Jamie also teaches and has taught at the Musician’s Institute, Saddleback College, the Los Angeles Music Academy, the University of California at Los Angeles, and CalArts. Jamie currently performs as a member of the trio JoE-LeSs shOe with Jason Harnell and Matt Otto who released their self titled CD in 2007. Additionally, Jamie co-leads the organ trio Option 3, with Joe Bagg and Mark Ferber that released their debut CD "Points Subtracted" in early 2008.

Brian Hargrove is a Los Angeles based composer/pianist from Dallas, Texas and an alumnus of USC's Thornton School of Music and Annenberg School of Communication.

Hargrove's commissioned and personal work spans a wide range of idioms and contexts - from jazz to pop; chamber/orchestral to art music fusing aesthetics of hip-hop and avant-garde. Collaborations include projects with Michael Jackson, Vesper Theatre Company, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Strings and more. 

As keyboardist, he was a long-time member of Roy Hargrove's The RH Factor, has toured worldwide with Solange Knowles and also performed with Harvey Mason, Alice Smith, Goapele, Shafiq Husayn, The Pan-Afrikan Peoples Arkestra and many others.
