Yorkshire based lo-fi types, writing songs, playing in the big wide world soon 


'THE MICE ARE POSSIBLY THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD' - NME (New Mice Express)
 
 'The Mice' rose from the ashes of a band called 'Xplode the Myth', which in turn rose from the ashes of 'Devils Advocate', which in turn rose from the ashes of 'Pistachio', which in turn...etc.

 Anyway, to cut rather a long story short,  one day in spring 2009, the surviving members of 'Xplode the Myth' had important busness to discuss, so headed to the one logical place; the local pub. The singer was in a sad mood, as this particular day he'd just split from his girl friend. He sat there mumbling that one of the reasons they'd split was that she'd complained his flat was full of Mice. 'That's it!' cried the drummer, 'The Mice!' And so the band found it's true name. 

They each gave themselves familiar stage names; The singer/bass player was 'Mighty Mouse', the guitarist was 'Micky Mouse' and the drummer was 'Mighty Mouse'. With a set of songs established, 'The Mice' then set upon a series of shows throughout the various ale pits of london, eventually finding regular monthly residance at 'the Montague Arms' at New Cross in SE London, an amazing bohemian venue once dubbed in the press as 'the best pub in London'.
 
 'The Mice' aren't terribly influenced by modern bands, and instead have a retro sound taking inspiration from classic bands like the Beatles, the sex pistols, Roxy Music, the Clash, Madness, and even Phil Spector, combining them together to create their own unique sound. The songs have a catchy sound with punk attitude, including songs like 'Clair' , 'stars across the skies' and 'An Attack on Love.'

VINYL RULES !!!

He started to listen electronic music very young, in fact his father is a dj and vinyl collector since the 70's. 
Pretty addicted to techno and electronic music too, he learned the feelings of the sound of vinyls to his son, so at the age of 12 he was already listening to stuff like Felix Kubin, Dopplereffekt, Aux 88, Underground Resistance.
At the age of 16 he started to go in underground party's and rave party, that was the beginning of his love for underground hard music. 
In 2010 finally, getting attracted by the other side of the speaker (because of a friend of him who just bought turntables and vinyl to also play in several party later), 
he started to spin with some old records that his father gave him, that was the begginnig of his passion for vinyl and specially for old hard acid. 
He trying to be out of the mass of the others dj, melting oldschool stuff with newschool stuff. 
He's always searching to enlarge his collection of vinyl with rare or unknown records. As well as he like playing oldschool classic.
Real addicted by the acid sound after 2 year of collecting and practice at home, and after have been played at several free party's ,
Jey Nocid aka Acid Hunter the founder of Escape to acid (Escape to Acid provides the original Acid sound since 2005 in several places like :
 Der Machine, Tribes Gathering, Inside Out, Caves de Cornillons, The Fort Namur, Traffic, Rave parties and more ...) asked him to play at one party, then another, and later 
he became a dj resident for Escape to acid concept party.
After that he continued to evoluate in technique, in 3 more years he became resident for 4 others soundsystem all around belgium in rave and freeparty's.
in 2014 Mich AnalogDevice, GOmanu, and Lnt Mike started a new concept of party called "We call it acid" with a vinylfair before it and a free podium stage, so that everybody is invited to play his vinyl. The we call it acid concept was born.
He took his chance with a friend, and came play to the freepodium of Mich and it worked out, some times later Mich asked him to come at the radio speak a little about him and play a vinylset, so Mich was interested to made of him the younger member of the WCIA crew.
He mainly play in all around belgium in club and rave but also in France and Holland. He always sparked interest of the peoples by his cut technique and big selection of oldschool classic melted with more recent underground music. 
In 2018-2019 he became the new dj resident of Gazmatek Soundsystem.
In 2023 he became resident for Ephemere Soundystem and Alternative Soundsystem, who are all part of the Belgian undeground soundsystem family.

  Lucas de Medeiros is borned in Vancouver Island , with 9 years he and his family go to the volcanic islands ,from the Atlantic Sea called Azores, Portugal . Now he lives and work in London or anywhere else 
  In Sao Miguel biggest island from Azores he was introduce to Psychadelic Trance but after chosing Darkpsy and Hitech and fastly getting very interested with the music and the type of partys, there starts going to raves usually just full on .
   Pregakore went back to Canada at 2013 and he played at partys and festivals comon music played was Forest Twisted  Psykore and High Tech !!!! 
   In 2015 he goes back to Europe but now living at London and already sppining tunes in Partys :)

   His sets sounds like a lot of giant floods in your head full of magic, madness and darkness so bring your helmet and good dances!!
