New Orleans rapper Frxsh and Dallas native, Robbie D Love are aimed to make a huge impression in the music industry. 2016 is looking bright for these two young writers, recently coming together in Dallas as the Lean But Boys. Playing music that embodies youthfulness, strength, black consciousness, optimistic leanings, and multiple catch phrases built to encourage a new way of thinking, Lean Out Boys is making quite a wave for the new sound of this century. 

Lean Out Boys convey a sense of freedom through the music and lyrics that they display. Robbie D Love speaks on the undercurrents of self realization and the emotional power of being in love. These thoughts are delivered by a swaggy smooth vocal performance, delivering pulsating grooves that take the listener on a heart felt journey. To add to this immensely beautiful painting, comes the gritty but insightful raps by Frxsh. Parallel to the way he spells his name, he can be found ex'ing  out common themes of thinking to ultimately bring the listener to a new way of thought. He delivers tremendous amounts of word play, flipping consonants and similes, like a modern day Shakespeare. He is also prone to tricking out serous displays of alliteration through his ghetto fabulous narrations.

Together, Robbie and Frxsh hand deliver a new stamp of what it means to be a "black rock star" in 2016 with their latest offering, "Forever And A Day", comprised of new tracks that sound only like the Lean Out Boys could.

Raised on the South Side of Chicago, Vic rose to public awareness as a member of the eclectic hip-hop band Kids These Days and founder of the Chicago collective SAVEMONEY alongside Chance The Rapper and other local upstarts Joey Purp and Peter CottonTale. His solo debut mixtape INNANETAPE dropped in 2013, igniting immediate accolades (including a spot on the XXL Freshman cover in 2014), and a fortuitous introduction to Jay Z that led to a record deal with Roc Nation. Mensa went on to help Kanye West pen his esoteric song “Wolves” from The Life of Pablo, drop three critically acclaimed EPs (2016’s There’s A Lot Going On, 2018’s Hooligans, and 2020’s V TAPE) and his debut full length The Autobiography (2017), as well as furthering social causes in his hometown through his nonprofit SAVEMONEYSAVELIFE. In both music and his social activism, Vic challenges the American system responsible for a history of overcriminalization, racial injustice, and issues that affect the lives of people in underserved communities, while showcasing profound levels of consciousness and self-reflection.
