- His instruction to Shaykh Rabī’ to refute and rectify the mistakes of anyone who errs, even himself (i.e Shaykh Ibn Bāz).

- The great position Shaykh Rabī’ had with Shaykh Ibn Bāz.

- An example of how Allāh raises whom He wills: Abū Talhah Dāwūd Burbank (رحمه الله), who was sincere, humble, and fled from the limelight.

[08/08/2025] Indeed, the Hearing, the Sight and the Heart - About All Those [One] Will Be Questioned - Khuṭbah by Shaykh Uways At-Ṭaweel حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

- Qatādah (رحمه الله) on the verse, “And Allāh has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allāh).” [Sūrah an-Nahl 16:78]

- Abū ad-Dardā (رضى الله عنه) on the verse, “And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see?” [Sūrah adh-Dhāriyāt 51:21]

- “And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.” [Sūrah al-Isrā’ 17:36]

- A warning against using these blessings for other than what they were created for. 

- Shaykh as-Sa’dī (رحمه الله) on the verse, “It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with zulm, for them (only) there is security and they are the guided.” [Sūrah al-An’ām 6:82]

- Taking ourselves to account before we are taken to account. 

- The reason for the revelation of the verse, “Say (O Muḥammad ﷺ to mankind): ‘If you (really) love Allāh then follow me, Allāh will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allāh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’” [Sūrah Āli ‘Imrān 3:31]

- Loving and hating for the Sake of Allāh.

[29/08/2025] Is the "Mawlid an-Nabī" from our Religion? - By Shaykh Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– The Innovation (bid’ah) of celebrating the Prophet’s ﷺ birthday.
– The historical origins of celebrating the Prophet’s ﷺ birthday in the fourth century.
– Is celebrating the Prophet’s ﷺ birthday a good or a bad thing?
– If it is good, then are you claiming that the Prophet ﷺ and the companions were ignorant of celebrating it, as they did not celebrate it!
– Hadith: "Whatever is good I have commanded it..."
– Hadith of Irbad ibn Sariyah explaining that when differences occur, follow the sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly guided companions.
– If you follow the companions, then you will be guided.
– Encouragement to be humble and return to the truth.
– Hadith: Whoever introduces into this affair something not from it, will have it rejected.
– Imam Malik: Whoever introduces into Islam an affair and claims that it’s a good thing, then they claim that the Messenger ﷺ betrayed the religion, as Allah says, “Today I have perfected the religion for you and completed my favour upon you.” [Surah Maidah (5):3]
– Rebuttal of the claim that celebrating the Prophet’s ﷺ birthday is an expression and devotion to him.
– The true way of showing our love and adoration of the Prophet ﷺ – by following him!


Is the Mawlid an Nabi from our Religion? By Abu Idrees

The Friday Khutbah on The Khawaarij (an extreme and violent sect in Islam) and the doubts they use to twist the religion to poison the youth to carry out atrocities in both Muslim and Non Muslim lands.

Allah the Most High, created mankind to worship him Alone. And He honoured mankind with much blessings over other creatures.

A Muslim living in this country is in an agreement of peace with the people here. We may differ in ideology but we live in an agreement of peace between us.

What occurred in Manchester then this is not Jihad in the path of Allah. Because the perpetrator killed innocent women and children... and not not only did he kill others but he also killed himself.

So as there is a punishment for killing others unintentionally; then likewise killing oneself is also prohibited in Islam. Allah says "and do not throw yourselves into destruction by killing or harming yourselves". 

And the messenger of Allah said "and whoever kills him self by throwing himself off a mountain, will continue to do so in the hell fire. And whosoever kills himself with drinking poison will be handed that and he will do so repeatedly in the hellfire. And whoever kills himself with a knife or a sword will do so in the hell fire."

There is no war between Muslims and non Muslims this day that is carried out under a ruler at this moment. And the messenger of Allah also had treaties with the non Muslims (at the treaty of Hudaybiyyah).

So how do the khawaarij use the book of Allah and Sunnah to twist it and being doubts to the hearts of the Muslim youth? What are their doubts and how can we understand them according to the proper understanding upon the method of the salaf? Who are the group the ikhwaan al Muslimeen and those masaajid that support them? How have they contributed to the spread of this ideology.

"Excerpt: the one who kills a soul without right, its as though he has killed all of mankind; and preserving a soul it's as though he preserved all of mankind. 

A Muslim does not kill another Muslim. And a Muslim does not kill the non Muslims with which he has an agreement. But in both cases of an accidental death occurs then the one who did so should pay blood money and the payment of freeing a slave.

As for the one who kills the non Muslim intentionally - with whom there's an agreement with of peace- then he will not smell the fragrance of paradise - "even though ts fragrance can be smelt from a distance of 40 years""
