Death is a Matter of Divine Preordainment

- Chapter 1: Kitāb aṭ-Ṭahārah
- Ḥadīth #3: “Save your heels from the Fire.”
- The literal translation of the ḥadīth, and its meaning. 
- Narrations that explain the context of the aforementioned ḥadīth. 
- The obligation of making sure every limb is washed properly and water reaches the correct places. 
- The danger a person exposes himself to by not completing his wuḍū. 
- The effect of the traces of wuḍū’ on the Day of Judgement.  
- The body parts prohibited for the Fire to consume.
- Ardently following the Prophet ﷺ and abiding by the limits of wuḍū’. 
- The reason and manner in which Abū Hurayrah (رضى الله عنه) would “extend the limits of his brightness”. 
- The humility of Abū Hurayrah, and why he presumed that ‘Abdullāh b. ‘Amr b. al-‘Āṣ (رضى الله عنهم) narrated more aḥadīth than himself. 


Questions:
1. Regarding the roots of the beard during the wuḍū’, does one run his fingers through his beard each time he washes his face?
2. If I am in a state of janābah due to a night emission or due to relations and the time for ṣalāh is going to run out in about ten minutes, should I run to do the ghusl and miss the ṣalāh or do wuḍū’ and pray?
3. What do you say to the Muslims supporting Iran against the state of “Israel”?
4. What naṣīḥah can you give to the guardians of the sisters, and sisters themselves, concerning their inconsiderate manners as it relates to responding to brothers?  
5. Why do the Ḥanafīs say wiping over the socks are restricted to leather and not cotton or other materials? Do they have proof for this?
6. What advice do you give regarding how to deal with family members who are older and carry out innovated funeral practices?


06 Umdahtul Ahkaam Shaikh Luhaydan By Abu Khadeejah 17062025

 • Started with the virtues of ʿAbdullāh Ibn Masʿūd (رضي الله عنه)
 • Covered the narration of Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī and Ibn Masʿūd: — “How many people intend good but never reach it”
 • Highlighted evidence from the Qur’ān and Sunnah showing the completeness of the religion — no need for additions  “This day I have perfected for you your religion…” (Sūrah al-Mā’idah 5:3)’
  • Virtues of the Khulafā’ al-Rāshidīn (the four rightly guided caliphs)
 • Importance of clinging to the understanding of the Salaf al-Ṣāliḥīn
 • Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr on the verse: —  “This is My straight path, so follow it” (al-Anʿām 6:153)
 • Hadith of the 73 sects and its variations and its different chains - Linked with Ibn Masʿūd’s narration: “The Jamāʿah is what conforms with the truth, even if you are alone”
• Danger of bid'ah (innovation) and how it is more severe than committing major sins - to the exent that the Prophet ﷺ warned against it even before it appeared.
• The importance of Tawheed and the precise wording found in the sunnah and the Quran.  Example, Surah Maryam ayah 65
 "Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him?" 
• How this verse beautifully encompasses all three categories of Tawḥīd: 
 1. Tawḥīd al-Rubūbiyyah – “Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them…”
 2. Tawḥīd al-Ulūhiyyah – “so worship Him (Alone)…”
 3. Tawḥīd al-Asmā’ wa’l-Ṣifāt – “Do you know of any who is similar to Him?” (denial of likeness to His names or attributes)
• Shaykh ʿAbdullāh Lahmāmī (ḥafiẓahullāh) concluded the lesson by mentioning 20 characteristics that distinguish the people of Sunnah from the groups of misguidance.

The Conditions, Pillars & Requirements of the Prayer

The Pillars of the Prayer are Fourteen.

The main points covered in this lesson:
Recap of The Eleventh Pillar: The Final Tashahhud - التشهد الاخير and the Dua.
The Twelfth Pillar – Sitting for the Tashahhud.

– The way one can sit according to the Sunnah in this final tashahhud which is known as - التورك Tawarruk.
– Iftirāsh - The normal sitting in Tashahhud.
– Tawarruk - When does one sit in this way in the Salah.
– Is Tawarruk carried out in the Fajr prayer.
– The ruling of Tawarruk.
Shaikh Abdul Muhsin’s explanation:
– The Twelfth Pillar – Sitting for the Tashahhud.
– The prescribed Dua during The Tashahhud
– The different versions of the dua within the Tashahhud.
– The Prophet ﷺ taught the companions the dua in Tashahhud just like he would teach them the Quran.
–  The reason why the Dua is called ‘Tashahhud’
Shaikh Muhammad Aman Al-Jāmi:
– The Famous wording of the Dua of Tashahhud narrated by Abdullāh ibn Mas’ūd.
– Accepting the different versions of the Dua that are authentic.
– The Salat-ul Ibrāhīmiyyah.
– The unauthentic additional wording that is widespread.
