I noticed some action on a rehearsal studio version of this track here on SoundCloud, so I thought to upload a tighter version of it

As the band UMF dissolved, I really wanted to carry over some of the songs to the new band (now called Laybow), in particular this one, so I recorded a half decent version of it and pitched it.

It was picked up and has been a setlist favourite for a long time now, albeit the lyrics and solo bit have slightly changed.

I put this 2013 recording through a bit modern treatment.

Nach dem ich vor einigen Tagen das neue Plugin von Arturia erkundet habe, SQ80 V , kam mir die Idee... Nehm diesen Synth und mach einen kurzen Song. Also habe ich innerhalb von zwei Tagen ein paar neue Sounds programmiert und einen kleinen Song daraus entwickelt. Danke Arturia, für dieses geniale VST Instrument. In einen anderem Leben hatte ich einen Ensoniq SQ80 mit vielen eigen entwickelten Sounds. Viele Musikproduktion habe ich mit ihm gemacht und besonders die Ausdruckstärke im Spiel mit dem polyphonen Aftertouch geliebt. Mit dem SQ80 V ist Arturia ein tollles Instrument gelungen das ganz viel Erbmassen des Originals von Ensoniq in sicht trägt.

One synthesiser, one song, eight tracks in Ableton live , with Arturia's SQ80 V.

After exploring Arturia's new plugin, SQ80 V, a few days ago, the idea came to me. Get this synth and make a short song. So within two days I programmed a few new sounds and developed a little song out of it. Thanks for Arturia, for this ingenious VST instrument. In another life I had an Ensoniq SQ80 with many sounds I developed myself. I did a lot of music production with it and especially loved the expressiveness of playing with the polyphonic aftertouch. With the SQ80 V, Arturia has created a great instrument that has a lot of the heritage of the original Ensoniq.

Disco inferno groove

A month ago I uploaded a drum video in my Instagram called Disco Inferno (you can watch in https://www.instagram.com/p/CUgONDztYLg/). I think it worth to also perform the groove for potential use for music, your music.

As usual, try to hear with head/ear-phones (effects will be much more appreciated), and all is being played in one shoot (no sequences, no multi tracks, all played in real time --> it means i can play in live situations in real time).
