A few years ago, Moby (born Richard Melville Hall) decided that it was time for a change so he packed up and moved from his beloved New York to sunny LA. This fresh, new outlook permeates his 11th studio album, Innocents. One day, as the story goes, he was riding around town listening to “Morning Becomes Eclectic” on local radio station KCRW, and he heard a Damien Jurado song come on the air — and the rest is history.

“Originally, ‘Almost Home’ was a fully finished song,” recalls Moby. “But I love Damien’s approach to melody and lyrics so I gave it to him as an instrumental. What he did was much better than anything I’d come up with.”

We've been working hard from far a distance with Ivan  ;) 
It was no easy thing to perform this mix I am putting here. In fact, it's no easy Synth Music... I mean, not easy stuff to reach the proper/ideal sounds and mixing. And plenty of tests, many hours/days/weeks of work.


OK, this is basically a synthpop stylish tune, with certain "Apocalyptic" mood, but encouraging at the same time. :)  We decided a sort of "hectic" bassline this case. But you could also realize the presence of some other sounds smoothening the eschalogycal atmosphere the track has.
"Take your wings and let's race".... "Unchain your soul in pain from now!"

Relaxing electro-chillout song, specially for those who want to be loved exactly as they are, without changes. "I love you as you are". In my language, Spanish, that is said: "Te amo tal como eres"...

I was listening to old Depeche Mode songs today and realized that if 'Nothing' was mixed to sound like one of those shoddy electro-house singles, it would show every wannabe blogger/producer how crappy they are.
So I just went and did it. What you're hearing now is the product of, um, 20 minutes of work. Anything more and it would be too elaborate for your average blogger/"music producer" to whip up in one week.



Jokes aside, this isn't actually awful, it just follows a formula.



Which, by the way, proves the point nicely. :-)

Singer, songwriter and keyboardist. I started to play piano at 5, Classical Music education. But at my teens I've got into the electronic scene. Since then, I've been member of Synthpop bands of my area, Rosario- Argentina and envolved in other synth genres, like Chillout, Ambient, even Hip-Hop and Trance. I can appreciate all kind of music, you can see I am very eclectic and always opened to new projects
