Statiqbloom is the brainchild of Fade Kainer. A project that began in 2014 in Brooklyn NYC, later becoming a duo with Denman C. Anderson (2016-2020). Fade was a member of the industrial doom band Batillus, noise synth dread project Theologian, and he has also worked with Jarboe (ex-Swans) and Attila Csihar (Mayhem, SunnO)))).

Currently based in Berlin, he is combining hardware and software in creating noisy modular-engineered industrial techno and building live sets by meshing heavy hard industrialised rhythms with unfolding blackened atmospheres and disorienting vocals.

Statiqbloom has released on Sonic Groove, Metropolis Records, Synthicide and Desire Records.

Ça y est, le retour du glacier. ❄️ Ugo et son équipe ont déployé leurs instruments avec succès, et tout le monde est rentré sain et sauf à la base. Après de longues heures de travail, des jours sans nuits et le froid mordant, une seule priorité : un repas chaud. 🍲

À Ny Ålesund, tout le monde mange au même endroit, face au fjord. 🦊🌿 Renards et rennes gambadent sous les fenêtres pendant que les cuisiniers veillent à ce qu'il y ait toujours quelque chose de prêt, même pour les équipes qui rentrent tard. Ici, le dîner est servi à 17h, souvent bien trop tôt pour les estomacs français et italiens ! 🇫🇷🇮🇹

Mais... vous n’entendrez pas le son de ces repas, ni les discussions animées, ni l’amour des chefs dans leurs plats. Sur la base, l’intimité des équipes est respectée pendant les repas, et rien n’y est enregistré ou filmé.

Dans cet épisode, nous retrouvons Clovis, qui, après un long repos, rejoint l’équipe. Ugo, glacio-sismologue, et Coline, doctorante en glaciologie, sont en train de décoder les signaux enregistrés sur le glacier. 

Petit à petit, ils tentent d'extraire les données... 
Mais tout ne se passera pas comme prévu. 🎙️📡

With this second EP ever released and his second offering to the Electric Shapes' catalogue, Smogo dove deeper into the areas of the subconscient. With a blend of hard rhythms and dangerous sound designs, gathering both his love for Science-Fiction and organic textures, this new EP reflects more than anything his attraction towards ultramodern mental music, well reflecting the ongoing european enthusiasm for fast paced techno, buzzing soundscapes, ethereal harshnes, citing A Strange Wedding, Raär, Solma, Trois-Quarts Taxi System or Sole Massif as his source of influence. Calling this wave as "psytech", it conjures on the dancefloor a bestial spirit made for dance, self-abandon, communion with the others.
