this is a sketch i created by using the cv gate i/o on the korg volca fm and the moog mother 32 wherein both synthesizers are running sequences, creating cross-talk of sorts between each device.  my intention with this piece being so minimal was to put a number functions on display by iterating slowly through different parameters on each synth.  the effects used were a line 6 echo pro into an alesis midiverb ii.  recorded live and without overdubs coupled with some rough mastering on april 4, 2016.

Utopian Traces is a sound installation conceived by Ulrich Rois for Utopia 3000.
In an attempt to mimic the transformative quality of both memory and the communal celebration of music, slowly evolving drones and melody loops will combine with field recordings provided by the participants of this open call to create a temporary, new amalgamation of the various spaces and musical ideas. Additionally, the progression and mix of the piece can be influenced by the audience through a midi controller located in the chill-out area.
For inclusion of your field recordings into the sound installation, please send it as wav file to femdex.net@gmail.com by Nov 27.
The recording should be 1 - 20 min long. 
High definition sound quality not required, phone / camera recordings etc. are totally okay.

On "Fuego y Soma", Pandelindio create a unique blend of drone-based jams with strong Indian and Middle-Eastern flavors, comprised of field recordings, box tambura, didgeridoo, violin, shehnai, bansuri, harmonium and chanting.
