I'm back with another Novice Beats November! Here's a little chill beat to start off the month. Energy's low today (it's raining here in the PNW) so the vibe matches that.

This one took me way longer than I wanted it to, but sometimes it really do be like that. I dunno where the underwater vibes came from, but somehow, I think I gave that. The journey to un-muddy an instrumental is testy and fragile, but I got time to study it and troubleshoot.

Today was the day I forgot that I can distort my vocals. Still counts as a beat tho! Anyway, I got petty on The Lordt's Day.

This took me way too long to do. WAY TOO LONG. At any rate, I think I did pretty good for having to stop and go. Really feelin stompy instrumentals lately.

A stripped down drum line for this Sunday! I find that I tend to add too much so this is an attempt to stop when it's just right. I think it needs hella layers, but when I get into that mindset, I add too much and can't find my drums anymore!

This one is giving me a more industrial feel. I'm diggin the minimalism and this might (MIGHT) be another one I rap on. We shall see tho!

The final beat of Novice Beats November 2024! I can't believe how fast this month has gone. This is a spacy vibe for this last beat and the synth was hard to time. I think I did alright!
