The Activ8 EP is a 20 minute experience of some more clubby stuff i’ve been cooking up over the last year. A lot of people know me for my more commercial leaning dance music, but anyone that has come to one of my recent shows knows that I’ve been mixing in a lot of underground leaning music. I really wanted to pay homage to a time in dance music when it was mostly made on samplers and analogue synths, so there’s a lot of throwback sounds on this EP. Over the past couple years i’ve kitted my studio out with a lot of new analogue synths, pedals and drum machines, and this entire EP was made just jamming out and experimenting with the new gear. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you’ll join me on one of my ACIT8 tour dates coming to a town near you in the new year!
