The 'sound' of HIFI/LOFI can be defined by only one thing : Every release coming through the label has been made according to the the 4th Toltec agreement : always do your best. In other words, HIFI/LOFI is all about eclecticism, openness, fun, and acting as an unifying light of every aspect of life & music. JP Chronic is a free & rebel self made artist known as DJ, Producer & Label Owner of the islands label Chronovision Ibiza next to Luis Cossene which brings together the best of what the island Ibiza has to offer as residents and winter seasons special guests selected by the people from and on the island full time, staying away from the charts bloggers and keeping it balearically underground, residents such as Valentin Huedo (Ibiza Sonica), Jason Bye (Cafe Mambo), Miguel Garji (Balearica music), Andy Baxter (Open Lab), Sossa (Circo Loco), Ken Fan (Cafe Del Mar), Dave Hang (Zoo project) between many others are the residents of the white island Ibiza, keeping the island alive over decades now while the big djs comes and goes like who’s in fashion now… JP Chronic as a producer has been releasing tracks on major labels such as Nervous, Magnetic, Siesta, Tango, Openbar from the states or from Europe such as Frequenza, Neurotraxx, Bonzai, Lapsus, Sunclock to name a few, His tracks was supported by Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Steve Lawler, Timo Maas, Davide Squillace, Nicole Moudaber, Cristian Varela & many more… Interviews & reviews done on major medias such as DJ MAG, Trax Magazine, DMC World Magazine, Ibiza Voice, Ibiza Spotlight, Night & Day Magazine to name a few and 2 Chronovision Ibiza showcase done in Pacha Ibiza in the winter to his belt, the islander keep on grinding the underground scene while respecting the Balearic sounds & pioneers…
