After 15 years of being a music collector and and strong supporter of the local music scene in Louisiana LectrO cOd_E took his love for electro music a step further and started producing in 2018.  Being around Dj’s and producers like DiscoChic, Sproket, Dj Scrub, Oneway, Kidd Love and Xuptour over the years while they were mixing or writing he learned very quickly how to produce.  He’s already put out over 100 songs with albums released with Woodwork Recordings, Diffused Reality Records, and DataScience that’s been streamed in over 50 countries around the world. His songs have been played in mixes from Will Web, Atix, Feryne, ADJ, Ralph Lawson, Dave Clarke, and Dj Stingray. He’s released 3 albums already this year with his 4th album Savidge Machine dropping June 10.

Exactly one year after his 2021 release entitled 'The Electro Manifesto', DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2021 and early 2022. This 25-track album is another thematic nod to class struggle with the hope to stir class consciousness in listeners. Every song title makes reference to some tenant of the destructive and unequal economic system called capitalism as well as its ever-looming shadow socialism. Even the album cover borrows inspiration from Soviet-era propaganda, re-adapting the artistic styles of many communist agitators.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-101, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor to the Electro community for the last 11 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear, and more. This album is available for $15 USD

Kronos Device - Planet X EP [No Static / Automatic // NSA005]

No Static Automatic is back with a ferocious offering from two pillars of the UK electro scene: The Dexorcist & Bass Junkie aka Kronos Device.

The Dexorcist grew up on a diet of ‘80s electro, hip hop and Miami bass before graduating to acid house, techno, bleep and bass. Involved in London’s warehouse scene throughout the ‘90s and heading up the Control Tower label alongside Keith Tenniswood of Two Lone Swordsmen, The Dexorcist has gone on to release music on seminal labels like Furthur Electronix, Super Rhythm Trax, and Yellow Machines.

On the other side of the workshop, we have Phil Klein aka Bass Junkie. A devoted electro head from the start, Bass Junkie has been active as a DJ, live act and producer since the late ‘80s. His signature take on gnarly, bass-led electro led him to work with artists like Radioactiveman, Egyptian Lover, and Dynamix II; releasing on Touchin’ Bass, Elektrix, and DMX Krew’s Breakin’ Records, not to mention his own Battle Trax imprint.

Here, The Dexorcist and Bass Junkie join forces again as Kronos Device, serving up an impeccable 4-tracker of pulsing grit, extra-terrestrial bass and funky machine hydraulics.
