Hello everyone i recently bought a PRS Guitar and wanted to write a heavy progressive rock song (not what PRS stands for by the way ;) haha) and this is what i came up with, this is also my first time using Open C major tuning (Devin Townsend's signature tuning) which was quite a lot of fun for me. I was originally inspired by the song Tsunami by DVBBS & Borgeous because it gave off a great naval vibe and I thought it would interesting to mash it up with the Pirate's theme. However, after experimenting with a direct mash-up I found out that it actually didn't work so I decided instead to construct a remix from scratch. Hence after working on this track throughout winter break, this remix was born! Elements include a naval battle vibe as well as I also wanted to incorporating imagery of large boat party where perhaps the pirates are celebrating a recent victory. The Jack Sparrow sample should also be instantly recognizable.

So with taking a darker tone on this it wouldn't make much sense without lyrical content, sucks for you, HAR HAR.

SEASON 3, YAAAAAYY!!!

Didn't get this done and uploaded as fast as I would've wanted, but the first two episodes are still topical, right? RIGHT?!?!

So this is a song about King Sombra attacking the crystal empire. I wanted to give this song a sort of a battle theme kinda vibe, so I went with a power metal style. Then I hooked up with my friend Cyril, whose voice goes up like an angel and down like a wounded ox!

I know, I know, this ship sailed like a year ago. Back when everyone was doing this I wanted to do one too, and I'd had all the lyrics written down for months, but I lacked the skill to pull it off. I felt confident now that I could recreate the song and replicate the vocals, and I wanted to be as accurate as possible. Unfortunately those glitch drums were just impossible to mimic, so you'll just have to settle with what I put together :p
