John’s first contact with music was when he discovered his father’s abandoned turntable in the house’s storage. He started listening his father’s record collection, based in Soul, Disco and Funk.
In his early high school years, he realised he has a passion for underground music and started with gigs in North Greece till recently where he moved to London. 
John Dimakis aka D’Jones now continues his thousand miles music journey in London’s vast music scene. His sound is influenced from emotive dreamscape House, Hypnotic Deep House and Heady Techno.


Ukrainian-born electronic music producer and dj currently living in the Netherlands. Producing music inspired by original electro funk, Detroit sound & sci-fi movies 👽
