@korboira is the stage name of Víctor Llinares, a DJ and producer from Valencia and one of the talented artists behind the Berlin based SLET collective; a record label, promoter and music collective exploring heavy bass music & rebellious breaks with a polychromatic cyber punk attitude.

Experiencing the Valencian underground scene at a very early age, Kör Boira developed a taste for raw and dark club sounds. His hometown plays a huge role in his artistic development; being a European hub for electronic music in the early 90’s, Valencia has always been a most inspiring place for him, learning and developing his craft from it's veteran artists.

In recent years Kör Boira has been DJing and performing live around Europe and promoting events with his SLET collective. With his main focus on producing music and developing a hardware live performance, he has been releasing heavy dancefloor hitters on SLET, Tbilisi based Your Character Music and Valencian Syntax Electronix with remixes by the likes of D.I.E. and Hermeth.

For his Mechatronicast Kör Boira shared with us an almost 3 (!) hour closing set from their last SLET party. All kinds of raw and heavy electronics fly by in this fiery mix so make sure to give it a spin, check out his releases and catch him perform live when he hits up a club near you.

Kallaikoi is the term used to designate all settled Celtic clans in ancient Gallaecia (northwest of the Iberian Peninsula).
They were skilled in metallurgy and the production of tools and weapons, and they worshiped a variety of deities, some of which were related to nature and war. Although

They disappeared as an ethnic group in ancient times due to Romanization and Later influences, its cultural legacy and the Celtic influence in Galicia persist until today. In some way, that atavistic legacy survives among the grooves of the double album that you have in your hands

The vinyl release includes an insert signed and numbered by artist Beatriz Albaladejo.

Mechanoreceptor - Aviary Dwellings EP [No Static Automatic // NSA008]

New Zealander producer Mechanoreceptor is next up on No Static / Automatic presenting his steel-cold electro productions inspired by life and travel. Aviary Dwellings EP is a personal document of the artist's life setting out on the road travelling from his home country of New Zealand through Asia before landing in Germany. Along the way he observes experiences and reimagines them through his production, transcribing visual and tactile life experiences from the lens of a parallel reality named The Aviary.

Each track tells a story of his worldly experience. ‘Taxi Funk’ documents the taxis roaming silently through the city streets of Fukuoka, Japan. ‘Gamma Correction’ is born from the artist's time working in science labs in visual neuroscience. ‘Korean Couture’ is inspired by high fashion within Seoul, South Korea. ‘EZ-3 Wire’ and ‘Reducing Ties’ both come from a materials used for heart surgery procedures, from Mechnoreceptor’s time in medical manufacturing. Manta-ray Oscillator and Oxygenated Pearls. documents part of his experience scuba diving in the seas of Indonesia.

Wiremu Hohaia is the artist behind Mechanoreceptor, an entity drifting between, across, and within unexplored realms within The Aviary, a fictional hyper dimensional world. A research-intensive project, the Aviary’s myriad of intricate physical properties are slowly unveiling themselves. Commonplace phenomena have been discovered to be dynamic and fluid. Hardened surfaces melt into streams of chrome, waterfall mists convert to breathing curtains of diamond dust, and snowfall is instead composed of oriental ceramic shavings. Mechanoreceptor has appeared on Crazed Behaviour, Posse Up, Avoidant, and Ovelha.
