Since this horrendous mess began I have been keeping in touch with Lectromagnetique, our friend and valued member of this community. We have chatted several times a day about what is going on in his country - Ukraine.

Like his fellow citizens he is full of determination and frankly keeping a cool head where I am sure I would be breaking down.

Many of you will know his debut was on Bass Agenda Recordings back in 2015, and has released others on the label and elsewhere since.

He remains passionate about music, of course. And so, as a one off, Bass Agenda Recordings is making a brief appearance from its hiatus to release this EP.

Two killer tracks of dark, powerful Electro, in the style we have come to know, love , and expect from him.

This is about keeping on keeping on, not stopping, not giving the enemy the satisfaction of pausing passions, and doing what we in this community do best - create to cope and help others get through.

All money from the release will go to Ivan and his family. The label will make nothing from this.

Remix duties from two staple personas of the local scene, DJ Problems and Fragedis, who are hitting the spot once more.

DJ Problems is one of the driving forces behind Fade Radio, a community-based radio in Athens that is ever-growing, and has recently launched his own label named Street Fighter Honda with a fantastic VA full of surprises. He is also known for his productions as Bekha Mujiri on labels such as Abstract Reality & Meta Moto.

This time Herrensauna Vol. 3 ties in with the 9th anniversary of the collective. A celebration of longevity and its global impact, Herrensauna has become one of the most esteemed spaces in Berlin’s queer underground. The international reach of Herrensauna is evident throughout the latest compilation as it unites artists from Japan, USA, the Netherlands, France, and of course their spiritual home, Berlin.

Bridging together experimental club soundscapes, Herrensauna Vol. 3 is a confident stamp of where the label sees itself at the moment and the world it exists in, featuring artists they admire and friends of the collective. From the dreamy and ethereal melodies of Cora, Sepehr and Roza Terenzi to the wonked-out leftfield club anthems of De Grandi, Animistic Beliefs, 3Ddancer, Galaxian, R325 whilst rounding off the release with bass mutations from Fetus, truthspeaker, T5UMUT5UMU and Sexapil.
