familiar with the underground music scene and how its skeptical nature can also be an obstacle to overcome, belief defect abandon any claim or credit in an attempt to transcend the limits authorship imposes, avoid the boundaries or expectations earned or self imposed and find the clearest, most direct path to their music for themselves and the listener.

at the core of the album is the music that inspired them, the conclusion of countless recordings listened to in their formative years that ultimately result in a life-long devotion to electronic music: from dance floor to primal anger and self-annihilating noise, to transcendental, ambient escapism and intense self-reflexive sonic layering.

the result is a soundtrack for this apocalyptic time, an uncompromising reflection on the state of mankind and its uncertain future — underscored by a sense of religious and secular demise referenced in track titles, samples, and soundscapes scattered throughout the album.

yet, more than a political statement »decadent yet depraved« is an introspective journey, turning each listener into a spiritual soul-seeker staring into the abyss, reaching for some kind of cathartic truthfulness.

Kosh exploded onto the electro scene in 2018 with his debut release ‘Null 212’ on @csvoyager records. The track that received the most attention was ‘Catch The Train’ with it’s faultless modern take on classic Detroit electro reminiscent of @cybotron-official and Aux 88. It became a big track for 20/20 Vision founder Ralph Lawson who quickly invited Kosh to record for the label.

‘Vicious Love’ is a diverse 4 track EP showing off the Moroccan producers faultless production skills with the A-side featuring ‘An Arab in Space’ that continues to bring the classic sound of Detroit up to date.

We have some special feature today. Mix from @kirillmatveev, a head of @mixcult and @spitzerec Records. Dj and producer, curator of monthly events in @stackenschneider (MixCult Night) and @msqclub (Old Pager Memory) in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Kirill is the mastermind and CEO of Mixcult Records, Radio & Vinyl Store, a Saint Petersburg based project that presents carefully selected Deep, Minimal, Dub, Techno and House music from all epochs with a wide range of vintage videos from Russia. 
His project “Mixcult” has efficiently operated as an establishment for artistic manifestation and a medium for visionary output, allowing underground artists to break through to a much wider audience that seek for unquestionable quality music. His executive activities and creative bearing for Mixcult has helped encourage the careers of worldwide artist friends like @andrey-pushkarev, @lolapalmer, @havantepe, @paveliudin and many others.
