After a decade of writing and recording vocals for top DnB
producers and labels, flowanastasia presents her debut album
Face Yourself EP. A vulnerable reflection of her journey through
addiction recovery and personal development, the album
features production by Nymfo, Loko, STRANJAH, and Tyr
Kohout, as well as live instrumentation from Toronto jazz
musicians, and custom artwork by illustrator Vytautas Bikauskas.
Following the success of 2 advance singles, the full album will be
released in January 2022 on Toronto label Deviant Audio,
founded by STRANJAH.
Previously known as "Anastasia" and having changed her artist
name in 2021, flowanastasia was born in Ukraine and raised in
Toronto. Earlier releases include music on RAM, Critical, Viper,
Shogun, and Liquicity, features on official Spotify and Apple
Playlists, premieres on BBC Radio 1 and UKF, and licensed in
video game Project Cars 3. Songs in her D&B repertoire have
amassed over 3 million Spotify streams.

Honorary Mancunian producer & DJ Motiv, real name Jonny Porter, has been a busy boy over the past 6 years. Since his debut release on Soul Deep back in 2016, this budding musician has been developing his own versatile style - a slick blend of deep, moving liquid tracks twinned with some down-right-grotty rollers. The 24-year-old has already racked up an impressive number of singles, EPs and even a full-length album on Co-Lab Recordings. Debuting on our ‘Tonics’ EP series last year, we’re incredibly excited to be releasing a more in-depth project from this Northern producer, who’s joined forces with Zoe Kypri, Surreal and Salem Focus to deliver the ‘Evershifting’ EP. 

On ‘Evershifting’ Jonny teams up with spiritual East London vocalist Zoe Kypri for a sultry, moody roller, the lead track from his forthcoming EP of the same name. The chunky, hypnotic elements of the instrumental are effortlessly matched by Kypri’s seemingly endless range and diverse delivery. Boundless stretches of bassline are punctuated by soothing flourishes of chimes and a blocky chord progression resulting in a trance-like final product. 

The second track up is ‘Memento’ which has a laid back feel, complemented by muted tones and swishing guitar licks. The tumbling sub-bass is flanked by surging pads and guitar countermelodies which keep the energy up. It will certainly leave a lasting impression of liquid loveliness, nothing else. ‘Up & Down’ marks the penultimate track, another liquid lesson from Motiv, delivering more sultry vibes that wouldn’t go amiss at Sun & Bass in Italy by any stretch of the imagination. 

For the final track, teamed up with German producer Surreal and Leeds MC Salem Focus to deliver ‘Lazy Saturday’. Salem’s laid-back delivery and relaxed flow perfectly compliment the track’s atmosphere, while his lyrical content equally matches the vibe on offer.

The box itself is beautiful with silver ink printed on both the inside and outer shell, the records are pressed on 120gsm virgin vinyl and the 6th plate has a special etching to commemorate the birthday.

We have a deluxe version too which is limited to 100 copies. This includes the album box , a special aluminium print of the artwork, a signed poster, a multi page fanzine designed by Studio Yasseen Faik, stickers and a slipmat. (update: Deluxe box sets have now sold out)

Polish producer Satl steps out of his comfort zone and explores his Dub Techno influences on his new Lucid Dreams EP: his sophomore release on Amsterdam boutique label The North Quarter.

Consisting of six brooding, yet elegant tracks, “Lucid Dreams” is the work of an artist taking creative risks in order to grow and find his voice. Having made the move from Rotterdam to Gdańsk at the start of the year, Satl spent his lockdown delving into his love for Techno; looking to translate it into his Drum & Bass productions - with exceptional results.

"This EP to me is an exploration of a sound that I've loved for some time, but never really felt confident enough to attempt.
