Lee Hodge is a Tech House/ Techno DJ.
Lee has been playing in the UK and Europe for over 30 years. 
In the 90s you could regularly catch him playing out with his own style of early Breaks and Techno. Lee went under the alias as DJ ESP. Lee persuaded an illegal rave promoter to give him a set at a regular event he attended called PE2 (Panorama Elite 2). The set secured him his first weekly residency playing to around 500 people in various secret locations around the Midlands. 

Then followed a succession of residencies in Mansfield at; Harveys, The Yard and Vibealite.

Vibealite was where Lee really began to develop his own sound and style which was heavily influenced by Dutch techno. At Vibealite Lee played alongside the legend that is Carl Cox as well as the likes of Mickey Finn, Slipmatt and DJ Hype. 

Lee championed the Bouncy Techno style, taking it too the masses at Club Kinetic near Stoke, The Dock in Liverpool, Believe at the Marcus Garvey Notts, Thunderdome in Derbyshire, Maximums in Chesterfield and as a Tomorrows World resident Lee was part of the Uk’s first ever dedicated Techno night.

Over the next few years Lee’s style moved towards House, playing at Saddlers in Derby under the alias of Lee Espey to reflect his new sound. 

A Runner up in iDJ Magazine DJ competition Lee was praised by Eddie Halliwell for his vibe and skill in building a mix. Wanting to take you on the journey Lee’s sets are a must see and anyone that has caught one of his sets will know just how infectious his presence and music style is. 

In 2009 Lee took House music back to Mansfield with a night called My House is your House. He also ran two successful house nights; Just Strut and Static. 


Lee recently was resident for Secret Party Project for 7 years, played Space in Ibiza ,Global Gathering, Gatecrasher,  Pukka Up ,Sankeys Manchester and now for Foridden Forest
