The bringthebeats underground is a Toronto-based collective dedicated to the electronic dance music scene since 2002. Our preferred style is funky progressive house, but we promote any sound with depth and substance. This SoundCloud stream features exclusives, live sets and classic favourites.

NUNER's love of music began at a very early age. At 7-8 years old he would anticipate being off school on Saturday mornings and start the day early going through his parents record collection and spending all day in front of the turntable. 

Growing up in Toronto, in his teens he would often relish taking on all the tunes at his friends' parties. In 1996, walking into Industry nightclub, NUNER was blown away by Richie Hawtin set and his life changed forever. He soon purchased Technic 1200s and started doing legendary after parties at his house (aka Club Nuno) that would sometimes last for over 48 hours.

NUNER now has over 20 years of DJing under his belt playing a variety of genres and venues from house parties to club nights. He is versatile and can play anything from disco to hip-hop to his true love, deep dirty & techy house. He can read the crowd and tailor his set to the people on the dance floor. He had a long running monthly called SHINE in Toronto and still plays various parties around Toronto and abroad.   He often partners up with @Keijo Makela as NUKE to throw both small events and play B2B DJ sets.

Lee Osborne began DJing in the early '90's where he discovered his passion for electronic music. He quickly became a fixture in the Toronto's underground scene, playing for promotors such as Fukhouse, Promise, and Platform. He has also be a fixture at local clubs such as Footwork, Guvernment, Coda, and Comfort Zone. His music has been released on respected labels, including Thoughtless music.
