Music in The Makin (MITM) started on the principles that good, quality music would be able to find its way to those who needed it and, that by documenting the entire process from initial idea to recording to video, that people would gain a better understanding and deeper appreciation for the music and be able to “listen different”. With these core values in mind, Arquitect Music Group (AMG), headed by producer/artist Keith O’Brien aka “Arquitect”, and Sofistafunk Entertainment led by artist/owner Polk, decided to bring this idea to fruition through reaching out to the best talent the Midwest has to offer. By assembling a “Dream Team” of artist, producers, photographers, and video directors MITM was born. As this movement continues to grow, MITM will continue to be at the forefront of providing the finest in Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop music from talented underground artists to the world. The first project (MITM Vol 1.) will be segmented to show the evolution of the project as Polk and Arquitect work with various artists and producers such as Fitz Fonzeralli, Frankie, Jones 2200, Cam Julkes, Dork, Evan Esco, Rodge, Ricky Rhodez, Morisha Vaulx, B.E.N., Lisa Beasley, Vonnie, and Son One to release songs and music videos, as well as behind the scenes footage monthly. We envision that through group projects and individual releases word will spread like wildfire of the amazing, different sounds that Music in The Makin is bringing to the table. So with that said sit back, relax, and vibe out, We’ll take care of the rest.
