If a song has been totally rewritten completely every word and even cadence but the concept and title stayed the same is it still even the same song or is it a whole new song? The Myth Of moving on is obviously another narration of the protagonists mind and its eternal battle with his heart and he doesn't try to get over his ex  he just fakes it until he makes it and its easier to just find ways to cope with the memories and pain of regret.
