This is a remix of Secret Place by CloZee for the Gravitas Create Remix Contest.

After recent events in my hometown, the words "secret place" took on a new meaning. This song came to represent a musical haven that so many of us take refuge in -- but this time I wanted to create one that couldn't be touched by anyone else. It embodies the sanctity of our intimate relationship with music that holds space for us even in the darkest of times.

This is dedicated to all those affected by the recent tragedy in Las Vegas. Thank you CloZee and Gravitas Create for the opportunity to extract so much light from such heavy thoughts. I hope this little piece of my heart is able to bring at least a sliver of comfort as we continue the search for that personal, sacred, and secret place present in all of us.
