The wait is over; Victor Ruiz is back with a bang with his latest release, ‘Touch The Darkness,’ an enthralling three-track EP to be unleashed on his VOLTA label on 21st April 2023. Previous releases on VOLTA have seen the likes of ANDATA, Balthazar & JackRock, Christian Smith, and more feature on the label, making it one of the most exciting and fastest-growing imprints in the techno space. And with ‘Touch The Darkness’, Victor Ruiz has once again proven that he is one of the game’s most talented and innovative producers.

Known for his unique blend of peak-time techno, acid, and melodic mastery, Victor Ruiz has once again delivered a stunning masterpiece that showcases his talent and versatility as a producer. The EP features three tracks that are sure to get your heart racing, each bringing its unique flavour to the table.

The EP starts with the title track, ‘Touch The Darkness’, a pulsating techno track filled with ethereal sounds and driving beats that will get any dancefloor moving. Next is ‘The Alchemist’, an acid-laced masterpiece showcasing Ruiz’s ability to create emotional and powerful tracks. Rounding off the EP is ‘Oblivion’, a dark and brooding cut that will transport you to the outer limits of the galaxy.

"I was asked to play a private party at an apartment in Manchester UK with some friends one Saturday night. Me and a friend had to bring the CDJ's, mixer etc. This girl was coming out of the hallway and noticed us and said 'are you the DJ's I've heard about" we replied "well I guess yeah". "Perfect Im going to the shop to get booze etc, take my keys and buzz me in when I'm back... set up in the kitchen maybe?"

We both went into the apartment and few people where there they said hello we set up and got the party started. 2 hours go by everyone is loving the music and our other friend (who knows the people at the party we have been asked to play calls us).

"Guys where are you" ... "Kitchen" we reply..."your not I'm in the kitchen now?". "Come out to the hallway, so I can hear you better" I left the kitchen through the front room, out of the front door to the main hallway. My friend was waiting outside and had come out of the apartment across the hall...... We'd set up at the wrong party and everyone had been waiting on us....OOPPS?" - Kreso"
