Downspin

Is a well know DJ in Salt Lake's Underground scene, he is known for his unique blend of electronic bass music along with his mastered mixed albums. Downspin hit his 5 year mark this year. He mixes all styles of electronic music & has found a mad love for that sound of Deep Dubstep, Dubstep, DnB & DrumStep.  DownSpin was first introduced into the realm of House music, and Electro House back in 2008.  Since then DownSpin has progressed his way into the Dub side, draining his bank accounts purchasing all the best dubstep EP's released in 2008-2012 on Wax from the UK on sites such as Chemical Record and Juno, some of these EP's featured artist, such as Caspa, Rusko, Benga, Chasing Shadows, BassNectar, Synkro, Rob Sparks, DZ, and many others.

Downspin has had the pleasure of mixing the controls along side of some amazing artist such as Sluggo, Aaron Simpson, NTRLD, The Carriers, Jack Sparrow, PsyFi, Vinja, Archetek, Grimblee, Illoom, Bonneville &; some of Salt Lake's Finest Locals. He has ventured into the production side of music and has been producing his own sound to share with the world!

Haunting, Childlike, Delicate, Operatic, Melancholic. Adjectives aside, Miss Melody is putting an original stamp on the international music scene. Although she is fluent in English, she chooses to sing in Mandarin Chinese to convey the subtle and sometimes indirect connotations of her heartfelt and emotive tracks. 

Embracing the lyrical virtues of ancient Chinese Poetry from ancient Song and Tang Dynasties, her music is at times uplifting and proud, at other times dark and polluted. Even if you don't speak or understand Mandarin Chinese, her messages transcend language. Have a listen, and make up your own mind.
