Hi all, 

I will be doing a small number of All Night Long sets , starting on the 21st of September in London. 

The focus will be MUSIC. All kinds, and a lot of it. 

To give you a taste of what it will sound like, I'm preparing a series of mixes.

I started to think to make this compilation end of august when my friend Anna explained me the www.betterplace.org/en/projects/8617-an-elementary-school-for-ban-sakmuang-laos project.

I needed to make something real in my musician life so I asked my friends musicians and dj's to help me to raise found to build and elementary school in Laos.

San Francisco three-piece live band PillowTalk, the guys who manipulate pop melodies, classic R&B, soul and boogie into the loose rhythms of house music have joined forces with Thugfucker on their latest album "Je Ne Sais Quoi". Home Sick is a poppy, warm groover that gets the blood flowing and your hips wiggling. 

PillowTalk can be seen playing live at the Crew Love stage during the highly anticipated DGTL Festival on Easter weekend (19+20 April). This tune will surely warm the hearts of its visitors. Just a few more weeks before before it's time to party at this epic festival.

Metroline Episode 45 is finally here. Our guest DJ for our latest Podcast chapter is Spanish producer Bolumar who has released a 4 tracker on the label, his release called Hypnotic Trip EP was out on May 5th and include a remix by Alessio Mereu.
Originating from the beautiful and historic Spanish stronghold of Valencia, Jose Bolumar Molina alias Bolumar, has prominently emerged from the city increasingly vibrant underground music scene as one of its most cherished musicians.
Complimentary to his natural Spanish elegance and charismatic demeanor, Bolumar brings a very unique and infectious sound; something which truly sets him apart from the rest, the combination of which has ignited his ascension to becoming one of Valencia most promising underground tacticians.
Influenced by the likes of Fuse front man Enzo Siragusa, Tsuba boss Kevin Griffiths, and one of Frankfurt hottest exports Vera, to name but a few, Bolumar follows through with a music style very much suited to that of his native city unassuming vibe; minimalistic, deep and techy.
With his career commencing during his impressionable teenage years, Bolumar initially established himself through playing experimental gigs at small-time venues and parties in his hometown. It was through playing such gigs that he developed a real attitude for DJing and a raw passion for electronic music. Gaining early recognition for injecting his infectious melodies and creativity into consistently unforgettable sets, this consecutively led Bolumar to gain a well-deserved residency at one of Valencia most revered underground venues, Miniclub. It was here where Bolumar took-hold of the weekly Thursday night event Klinik Music Club, captivating his clubbers and creating a real lasting impression with his intelligently fused selection of deep, dubby house and minimal tech sounds.
Having firmly established his capabilities behind the turntables, in 2010 Bolumar attentions turned towards production; three years on those efforts have started turning heads well beyond his local realms, with Bolumar music creating a real buzz amongst his industry peers, both across Spain and Europe.

We're excited to present the next Foxcast by Brooklyn-based Bedouin. Tamer Malki and Rami Deejay (Abousabe) are staples on the East Coast, with longstanding residencies in Boston and New York City, separately honing the craft alongside the scene's most recognizable names. When they joined together as a production and DJ duo, the sum of their parts led to something on another level.

Their productions speak for themselves: boasting  releases on Supernature and Get Physical, All Day I Dream and Kindisch, but it's their DJ sets that speak to their complex style and sensibilities; winning over new fans one event at a time. When it comes down to taking things to the upper reaches of soul-felt house music, Roy Davis Jr is right up there with his Chicagoan mentors DJ Pierre, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Marshall Jefferson, and Lil’ Louis – people that all of us working here in our Farringdon bolt hole hold the utmost respect for. These dudes sewed the seed for house music and for the parties that take place all over the world every day. Aside from that, Davis Jr has very much built his own thing with a career that was sprouted back in the 90s and continues to the present day with ever strong releases - his 2013 album, Destroy and Rebuild which served as a statement of a new chapter for his work, continuing on with the innovation that has kept him up there in our books, included. 

Simply put, he does it for the right reasons: the love and the life, both of which he used as inspiration for this neat and exclusive promo mix that we're happy to be serving up to you today. It's a full 90 minutes of Roy Davis Jr vibes and its warming us up nicely for his set in Room One this Saturday where he'll join Move D and Craig Richards in Room One.

It had been a while since we'd thrown a 2020Vision Day / Night party in London. So the pressure was on.  Would people still remember us ?  Would the notorius English weather be kind to us ?  Could we still pull it off ?  

The answer to all these questions thankfully was yes.  

It had been raining hard for a week before the party but the skies cleared and the sun came out on Sunday morning of May 25th.  A beautiful crowd of people turned up at iCan studios in Hackney Wick, East London for the day session as Kag Katumba, The Reflex and Psychemagik took control of  the decks.

This mix was recorded live from my closing set at sunset. I've always loved that transition between day and night.  As the light fades your ears take over from your eyes and people tune in more closely to the music.  

The party continued until the sun came up again with Citizen,  PBR Streetgang and Greg Wilson in the main room with the Loco Vision cubes.  

Thanks to everyone who came to share the experience and LWE for their superb production.  

Next stop is Sonar Lab as the sun comes up over Sonar Festival on June 14/15th.
