When you're talking about techno, few names have been innovating and evolving as much as Robert Hood. When he's not running things over at M-Plant, he can be found touring the festival circuit with his live show and releasing tonnes of fresh new material.

Today we concentrate on his more melodic alias and under the name Floorplan, Hood has released a stunning album showcasing a slightly different yet equally strong sound.

A new EP is set to drop featuring two re-edits of tracks that appeared on his Floorplan album 'Paradise'. 'Phobia' and 'Never Grow Old' have been given a special Re-Plant and we have the premiere of the latter.

Here is Rachel's cover of Proclamation by Gentle Giant. As always, Rachel is playing all the instruments and performing all the vocals - organs and pianos are played on her Nord Electro 4D and Nord Piano 2 HA88 keyboards, drums were played live on her Yamaha M06, bass was played on her custom Flowers short scale jazz style bass, and guitar was played on her Ibanez GIO guitar. Enjoy!

A masterpiece for the peak time dancefloor ‘Still Lemonade’ sees melodic and emotive synth lines flow over rolling percussions with a powerful breakdown and build destined to make the crowd erupt. Over on the flip Redshape adds a grumble in the bassline, playing with the track for an intricate and subtle build but keeping in line with the original it soon progresses into a high intensity dance floor bomb.

All three tracks on this EP were actually made for the Âme live show, but at the end it turned out that we used them in our DJ sets too. 
Due to the great feedback we decided to put them on a 12-inch accompanying the Âme Live CD. Karl Hyde and James Lavelle on one 12-inch should be something for a lad's paradise and even 'Enoi' sounds brighter than before.
