David Lefkowitz Professional Biography:

1994 David graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's Degree, MP&E. Academic Scholar Award.

Since then some of the artists Lefko worked with in the recording studio over the years include Johnny A, Stuart Kimball, Richard Davies, the Beloved Few, Entrain, Dany Silva and the Mendes Brothers.

1999-2002 Dave was a principal business partner of Renaissance Recording Company, a recording facility in the Back Bay area. There, he held the title of Chief Audio Engineer.

2001-2017 Dave was Associate Professor in the Audio Production Department at the New England Institute of Art.  2006-2009 He worked as the Assistant Chair. 2009 

2008 David graduated from Northeastern University with an MBA.

2005 -2018 David was a part time professor at Bay State College for the Entertainment Management Department. He instructed studio and advanced studio recording classes as well as many others. 

2015 - present David facilitates courses for Berklee Online. Courses involve audio mixing, critical listening, and audio theory.

2018- present David is a part time lecturer at Tufts University and teaches audio recording / production and computer music.

2023- present David is a part time associate professor at Berklee, MP&E.
