Media Blackout resident and beach house king, Medsound returns with his latest smash ‘I Am Not Afraid’ featuring the deliciously voice of the Yota who makes her debut on the label. The Barcelona born enigmatic multitalented Medsound has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing his huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing. Swedish born and Paris based Yota needs no further introduction, world-famous for her beautiful voice and works with the who is who of the nu disco and house scene. She has graced releases from Lifelike, Ben Macklin, Tommy’86, Marc Lower, Zoo Brazil and many more.

French master of the cool beat ‚Douze’ is another making his debut on Media Blackout with his incredible rendition of „I Am Not Afraid“. Douze's affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. Part deep house, part driving disco, his „Gonna Hide Dub“ mix of ‘I Am Not Afraid’ is a ode to house music that creates a mood that’s perfect for any dance-floor.

The second remix comes from none other than London based sound maestro Le Flex, who to people in the known is a true master oft he craft. He drops a stunning remix of ‘I Am Not Afraid; a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while Yota's voice make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

English wunderkind LeSonic, famed for his body moving beats and immense production skills, as well as work with Dirty Vegas, Vanilla Ace and Matvey Emerson delivers a remix that dives into more upbeat territory with lots of euphoric vibes. L’été sera doux. Parce qu’il s’agira de le passer, cet été, et parmi d’autres contentements estivaux, avec cette mixtape qui sent la crème après-Soleil, le Panaché pas trop alcoolisé, les vêtements raccourcis pour les circonstances, les refrains pop qui se retiennent aussi facilement qu’un numéro de chambre d’hôtel occupée pour une durée forcément limitée. Car dans cette mixtape que le Londonien James Yuill et l’Antibois Franck Russo (aka Loframes, lorsque la Manche est dépassée et qu’il est question de se retrouver autour d’un synthé, d’un chant aéré et de prods électronisées) ont composé pour nous, on y croise les éléments d’un voyage (pas si) léger et enflammé, du dadaïste Jacques au Nantais Anoraak qui, pas de hasard, accompagne justement le duo sur son nouveau single, « Since You’ve Gone », qui vient de sortir et qui continue la verve résolument synthpop qui était déjà le leitmotiv assumé du groupe, sur « 1996 », sur « In Love With You » ou sur « Get Real (Can’t Touch Your Love) », les premières tracks de ce duo là pour adapter les codes d’une pop solaire croisée, parce que le métissage est la plus belle des choses, avec cette dance-music qu’avaient porté aux étoiles les portes-étendards de la French Touch (première, et deuxième génération). L’amour (contrarié), la pop (synthétisée), l’été au chaud.

“Til The Night Fades Out” is the first single out of Yota 's first album "Knight In Shining Armour" that will be released on Computer Science in December 2017.

We asked Nu-Disco mastermind and confirmed 4 to the Floor killer, Mark Lower (Nervous Records) to remix it, so this has now become a massive club edit not to be missed!

Although being her very first solo single on our label, Yota is definately a confirmed professional songwriter since more than 10 years. Past collaboration includes co-writing song with hyped and established producers like: Alan Braxe, John Acquaviva, Lifelike, DJ Yellow and even John Dahlback just to name a few of them.
