Smoove has been involved with music since the age of eight. He started leading the choir at a local Church of Christ that his grandfather preached at. Ever since then Smoove began to gain a strong passion for music. As he continued to grow older music became more of a part of his life, something he loved and cherished. After high school he wanted to take it a step further and make music a career goal.

First and foremost his goal as a music producer/Artist consist of one being professional, two being knowledgeable in his profession and thorough with his work, and three maintaining the knowledge needed to stay up to date with the electronics and software used in today's industry. Smoove stated "My ultimate dream and goals are to own and operate my own studio and to have a hand in assisting some of top artist in this industry".

What inspires him to be successful in the music industry really has nothing to do with music at all. He comes from a single mother household, and his mother Lisa always pushed him to strive for excellence in whatever he does or is passionate about. And in his case that was music. Unfortunately his mother passed away in 2003 shortly after he graduated high school. So with knowing that maybe you can have a better understanding what motivates him and inspires him to succeed.
