I had planned to post this in the New Year as this first instalment of Dub Disco Deli (recorded in 2008) has never been on SoundCloud, but I decided to upload it today in memory of Terry Hall. His music didn't just awaken me musically, it ignited my political awareness and educated me about the importance of social justice in a manner that was far more tangible than anything I learnt in the classroom. RIP Terry, your spirit lives on. x

I put this together a few years back specifically to play at the Garden Festival in Tisno. It's got a somewhat K&D vibe to it and has one of those rolling grooves that's perfect for poolside/beach-side listening.

Leftside Wobble - Ricks Cafe Africanne

A three-hour mix from 10 years ago which I haven't until now shared (having only recently discovered a copy, when it was being played at a friends BBQ!). It was recorded at a villa party in Ibiza, timed for the opening parties weekend, and the party itself was celebrating 10 years of similarly favoured soirees. To this day it remains one of the best parties I've played at (playing alongside Lowlifes Michael Cook). With it being a 10 yr anniversary, it's a particularly celebratory set. :)
