Combining Americana, Balearica and Space Disco the @flying-mojito-bros are a DJ duo who most certainly stand out in disco scene. Caribbean rhythm, the man who drinks beer with pepper sauce. In 2018 he was visiting São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro playing on Mareh stand at MECA Festival, it was awesome. World Disco Edits producer, the mexican Fernando makes his mixes on the same way playing some of his own tracks influenced by African, Latin and psychedelic American Funk like James Brown (who kissed the hand of his dad at a concert in Philadelphia mid 70's). A mystical vibe like the warm Caribbean nights between Tulum, Playa and Cancun, where @the-funk-district resides and spreads his music.

I can honestly say this has been one of the very worst, bizarre, shit scary and at times wonderful years of my life where the important stuff all became so clear and much more important, and the shit stuff became obvious for what it always was…

Well I really can’t imagine anything more exciting than signalling better times ahead by spending a weekend in a field with my brothers and sisters from Sancho Panza at their annual dancing jamboree Campo Sancho!!!

The thought of being together, dancing to music, talking and hanging out for a whole weekend actually gives me the total tingles.

I love Jim and Matt. They are without a doubt two of the good guys of the music and events industry. They do everything they do with passion and for the benefit of people. They love music and their energy spreads into everything they do. Decades throwing parties at London Carnival, Glastonbury and beyond stand testament to that.

And when you play or dance at one of their events you can feel something else truly special. Something called community. Many of their people have also been with them for decades. People know each other. People love each other. The feeling is strong!

Now it’s time to dance, drink, laugh and love again.

I got so excited about the prospect of playing live again to real people in a field surrounded by passionate people that I did an exclusive mix for Sancho to celebrate life. I hope you enjoy the music and will dance with me.

I realised last week that it's 10 years since I started DJing and producing under the Leftside Wobble moniker and it also so happened that one of the inspirations for getting back into music 10 years ago was celebrating his 50th this weekend. So a revival of the Dub Disco Deli mix series seemed apt for the occasion as that was always the series of mixes that stayed most true to the LW unbounded by genres ethos. Really enjoyed putting this one together, hope you dig it too. x

A three-hour mix from 10 years ago which I haven't until now shared (having only recently discovered a copy, when it was being played at a friends BBQ!). It was recorded at a villa party in Ibiza, timed for the opening parties weekend, and the party itself was celebrating 10 years of similarly favoured soirees. To this day it remains one of the best parties I've played at (playing alongside Lowlifes Michael Cook). With it being a 10 yr anniversary, it's a particularly celebratory set. :)
