Ahoy has been a DJ for last 10 years. Right before turning 18 he bought his first DJ controller for pennies and learnt how to mix on headphones and cheap boomboxes.
5 years later under his "Captain'" moniker, he started making some edits for his sets. Unhappy with the status of the edit world, he took production classes to start crafting his own.
Always ecstatic to share some love, fun and beauty to the world, he started to publish his edits online for fellow DJs & music lovers to have access to these revisited gems.
Fast forward to present time, these edits are now played from Berghain to festivals in Thailand, from Disco Rollers in the UK to fantastic Italo Disco nights in Australia.
Now Ahoy focuses on playing more live DJ sets while still heavily releasing some of his Cap' Edits to the world.
