Pure Colors is the alias of Joey Tuholski, a producer/DJ and instrumentalist living in Chicago. He has forged a funky sound inspired by disco, jazz, soul, electro and hip-hop. With legato string lines, bright brass licks and percussive drums, 'You Don't Know' is a ballad with a melody and female vocals that express a certain nostalgia. iamalex chose the sample and did much of the initial cutting, while Joey added instruments and tweaked the rest of the track.
